REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

SUPPLY OF CONTACTLESS CARDS FOR NMB BANK PLC

1. NMB Bank Plc is a fully-fledged commercial bank in Tanzania. The bank offers banking services to individuals, small to medium sized businesses, as well as large corporate clients. NMB Bank has a wide branch network with over 230 branches, over 6000 NMB Wakala Agents and over 800 ATMs serving over 3.5 million customers across the country.

2. NMB Bank Plc has set aside funds for purchasing plastic cards during the financial year 2021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under contract for purchasing contactless cards.

3. The NMB Bank Plc. Management Tender Committee now invites eligible, qualified and experienced vendors to participate on the request for the proposal for the Supply of contactless cards.

4. The Selection and shortlisting of vendors will be conducted through the Open Competitive Tendering as specified in the NMB Bank Plc. Procurement Policy and Procedures.

5. NMB Bank Plc is expecting to receive technical information, which showcase technical capabilities and meet the business requirement and commercial proposal.

6. Interested and eligible vendors shall obtain RFP document from our website www.nmbbank.co.tz/tenders and request for clarifications on the RFP document shall be sent to the office of Secretary, Management Tender Committee at procurement@nmbbank.co.tz not later than Monday 30^th November 2020

7. Commercial proposal should include the following information:-

• The unit price of the card and card type as per the specifications

• Price must be inclusive of all relevant taxes

• Delivery plan

• Payment terms

8. Technical and commercial proposals should be submitted separately to ease evaluation and for proposals that will be submitted in hard copies, it is MUST to send the flash (USB) with files in PDF signed formats or editable word/excel formats during submission.

9. The deadline for submission of the applications will be on Friday 11^th December, 2020 at 15H00 EA Time. Your Proposal must be marked on top of the envelope: SUPPLY OF CONTACTLESS CARDS. Applications received will be opened promptly thereafter and in the presence of vendor’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at NMB Bank Plc Head Office on the first floor at 15H00 EA Time on Friday 11^th December, 2020. The proposal shall be delivered in the following ways:-

• Hard Copy delivery in sealed envelopes and deposited at the TENDER BOX located on ground floor of NMB Bank Head Office, at Ohio/Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road, Dar es salaam; OR

• Delivery by courier and addressed to Secretary, NMB Bank Plc. Management Tender Committee P.O. Box 9213, Dar es Salaam. OR

• Email delivery to – tendersubmission@nmbbank.co.tz maximum 10MB – ensure you protect your document with password which should be shared by the date of submission at exactly 15.00HRS.

10. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
